As many of you know, Asheville, NC got some of the worst of Hurricane Helene. My dear friend, Vanessa Schaefer, and her fiancé, Tyler Bastian were inside their home when multiple trees fell on it, coming through the kitchen ceiling, and hitting both cars that were parked outside.

They are scrambling to find a place to stay, and are struggling to even leave the area without a reliable vehicle.

Vanessa is a schoolteacher and not sure when she'll be able to go back to work. Tyler works remotely and is unable to access power or internet.
