Hi Friends. As many of you know, Ally and Tyler Hamlin welcomed their perfect baby boy Valor into the world on May 1st. Unfortunately, the last 7 days have been anything but easy for them. Just 2 days after an emergency C-Section, Valor was diagnosed with a gastrointestinal disease called Hirschsprung’s. He has been admitted to the St. Joes NICU Unit in Denver, and Ally and Tyler have been staying by his side as much as possible.

Due to this unexpected disease, baby Valor will need to undergo surgery on May 10th. As with any surgery on a baby, the potential outcomes of the procedure vary significantly, but in any situation, the Hamlin family will have a long and expensive road to recovery ahead.
