As many of you know, my sister Valerie served and dedicated her life to the Catholic Church as a cloistered nun for over 25 years. Recently, our mom passed away, and our father was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Valerie has taken a sabbatical to care for my dad and a time for discernment. During this time, she needs to work and earn a living. It is all very new to her to be in our secular world and outside of the convent. She developed many skills in the convent and will use much of her artistic talents to start a business, Artisans Crafts, which will specialize in designing unique leather goods and custom wooden products.
