Support Valerie's Fresh Start After Eaton Canyon Fire
Donation protected
Raising funds for an artist, friend and loved one. Valerie recently graduated from Fresno State with an Arts degree. To pursue her career Valerie packed everything she owned and drove a uhaul accompanied with her 2 cats to LA. She got an airbnb for 30 days and within that 30 days she got a job and found a room to rent in Altadena. Valerie has continued working on her portfolio and looking for a job in her field while in Altadena. Unfortunately due to the Eaton Canyon fire the home she was staying in succumbed to the fire, and everything has been lost. Valerie is determined to make her dreams come true despite the setback. Valerie's art page can be seen on Instagram @valorsun. Unfortunately her paintings are all gone now, but she will continue to paint and draw. Most importantly finding more employment and a place to live is at the top of her list. Valerie escaped the fire with her cats, drawing tablet and a backpack of clothes. Hoping to ease the burden and help get her going again we are requesting donations for her. Funds will be used to replace clothing, personal items, a bed and furnishings for a room. Although she can't replace her paintings and childhood items she'll paint more and make new memories. Anything and everything is appreciated even if its only a share of her gofundme https://gofund.me/5d99af3e I've viewed Valerie's social media posts after the fires and she is selflessly posting others gofund me pages, encouraging others, offering words or encouragement and links on where to find help during these times. Valerie truly has the heart of an angel and the strength of a warrior.
