Hello Everyone! My name is Valerie. On August 9th, I wanted to have a relaxing birthday celebration, have a birthday dinner, and finish my night with perhaps a glass of wine. Instead, my family and I spent the night coughing up smoke and watching our house burn down.

The BIGGEST blessing is my family and I were able to get out of the house quickly and to safety. What we didn’t know was the night had just begun. It’s then when we heard the explosion! The fire was vile and strong! The fire took over 4 hours for firefighters to have control. So powerful, leaving not 1 but 15 others also losing their home! :(

Between the fire, smoke, and water, there’s nothing savable in our home. Our home is submerged currently in water and also is considered condemned, leaving my family and I homeless. We are currently trying to rebuild. If you are able to donate ANY amount, it will allow my family and I to reach our goal and hopefully have stability.
