Help Valerie & Steve Morrison Through a Difficult Time

We’re reaching out to our community for help. Many of you know and love Valerie and Steve Morrison—two kind, generous people who are now facing an incredibly difficult chapter in their lives.

Over the past two years, Valerie has been bravely battling serious health challenges following a difficult emphysema diagnosis. As a result, their finances have become increasingly strained. Now, things have taken another unexpected turn: Steve was recently involved in an incident that requires him to enter a rehabilitation facility for at least two months.

With Steve unable to work and Valerie managing her medical needs on a limited income from her Social Security Disability, they are in urgent need of support. They are currently struggling to cover basic essentials—rent, utilities, plus Valerie’s ongoing monthly prescriptions, which include her oxygen, which is far more than she can cover with her current Disability payments.

This is a temporary hardship, and once Steve returns home and back to work, their situation is expected to stabilize. But right now, they need our help to make it through the next few months.
