Support Valerie Schaffer's Stroke Recovery

Hello My name is Trina.

I am currently reaching out to loved ones, family, and friends to help raise money to assist my mom.

On Sunday March 9th my mom Valerie Schaffer was admitted to the hospital due to having a second stroke. Well that’s what we thought. We have since then come to find out my mother has been suffering from stokes on both sides of her Brain causing her to lose function in your left arm and hand, she has had a significant increase in memory loss, and she has lost a TON of weight. If you knew my mom then you knew she was outgoing, hard headed and very INDEPENDENT. Well unfortunately due to these unfortunate strokes she is now unable to live without 24 hour care. She will be moving in with me once or if she gets discharged from the hospital. It’s still a mystery on what has been causing her to have these strokes. So, we’re still doing lots of tests!

my main goal for this fundraiser is to help me as her POA make sure she doesn’t fall behind in her bills, medical bills, and to also help get her situated in my home. She will be needed a home health nurse and rehabilitation also.
