Support Valeria's Heart Treatment Journey

Donation protected

Valeria’s story is written in both Spanish and English. The English version is located after the Spanish version.

Gracias, Familia Silva.

We are the Silva family. Thank you for reading our story. We are facing a difficult time. Recently, our eldest daughter, Valeria (Vale, as many know her), has taken a turn for the worse. She has been having issues with her heart beating too slow, which is known as bradycardia. The symptoms are chest pain, confusion or memory problems, dizziness or lightheadedness, feeling very tired, especially during physical activity, fainting or near-fainting, and shortness of breath. The worst case is her heart can suddenly, without warning, stop beating. Because of the possible dangers, she has been hospitalized in the Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas, three and a half hours from our home. Her treatment will last a minimum of three weeks but could possibly last longer.

My wife is going to have to miss work to stay in Little Rock with our daughter. The money you donate will be used to make sure my wife has food and necessities while she is in Little Rock, gas money for any driving back and forth between Little Rock and our home, and medical expenses not covered by insurance. Any amount you are willing to give is greatly appreciated, and if you can’t donate at this time, a share with your friends and family would mean the world to us as well. Thank you, the Silva Family.
