Hi, I'm Valeria Frias. I'm a 19-year-old from Guatemala. I'm a freshman at Calvin University, studying Business and Marketing. I play softball, second base, and shortstop.

I'm an international student who had to leave my home country because of how dangerous it got for us. We had people who put our lives in danger if we didn't give them money every week. I'm really working hard trying to fulfill my lifelong dream of studying and playing softball in the United States. My parents are working really hard but are struggling a bit to pay the monthly tuition fee, and since I'm an international student, I can only work 20 hours every two weeks, money that I have been using to help pay for my meal plan. I'm looking for good-hearted people who believe in giving second chances to someone like myself.
