Help Build a Safe Home for Valeria and Her Sons in Brasilito, Costa Rica

Meet Valeria, a resilient single mother of three boys, living in the small coastal community of Brasilito, Costa Rica. Every day, Valeria works tirelessly to provide for her children, putting their needs before her own and doing everything she can to give them a safe and loving home.

But right now, their home is falling apart. We are looking to build Valeria and her family a new home, made of concrete, that is safe and secure for long term living.

Valeria's current house is a fragile wood-frame structure, poorly built and slowly being eaten away by termites and tropical weather. Many walls are unstable, the roof leaks during heavy rains, and every day she worries that it may not hold up much longer. It is certainly not the secure, healthy environment Valeria dreams of for her family.

That’s why we’re starting this GoFundMe campaign—to build Valeria and her sons a new home.
