My name is Valeria. I am a mother of a simple family with 3 small children, 8 cats, and 3 goats. For the last 10 years I've been helping, caring for, and saving stray cats on the streets of Trenton. I find them new homes and dozens of "my" kittens have grown up in good, kind families. I've always managed to do it myself without anybody's help.
But now I beg for your help.
A dozen of pure bred Main Coons are in a life or death situation. They have lost their caregivers/family and they need medical care and transportation from out of state. The majority of them have developed problems with eyes and are generally ill because of the stress and deteriorating living conditions. The females are developing pyometra and need veterinarian help.
I am already in this and i am helping them regardless of the outcome of this campaign. Right now I am relying on my own money and this venture will be expensive. Proper transportation alone will cost over 1600 dollars and then there is treatments and medication.
I have a relationship with EASEL shelter in Ewing, NJ where we will be able to get the treatments for much cheaper. They are already expecting me to bring the cats to them and they are aware of the situation.
The flight is already booked for the end of next week. The transportation is being arranged for the same day.
These cats are not meant to be sold or profited from. They will be given to loving and kind families. These cats will not be treated as accessories.
Throughout the years I was able to develop an intuition that helps me screen and find such humans.
And now math.
• Transportation: Van rent, permits, fuel (~$1,600)
• Veterinary Care:
• Spay/neuter surgeries (30 cats × $100–$150) = $3,000–$4,500.
• Eye infection treatment (exams, drops, ointments, 30 cats × $50–$100) = $1,500–$3,000.
• Vaccinations and basic tests (30 cats × $50) = $1,500.
• Food and Supplies: Food, litter, and bedding for one month (30 cats × $30) = $900.
• Unexpected Costs: Emergency medications or vet visits (~$1,000).
Total Goal: $10,000
