Hoy abro mi corazón para compartirles la historia de mi Valeria, mi niña fuerte, mi guerrera de tan solo 15 años. El 13 de septiembre de 2024, nuestras vidas se partieron en dos con una noticia que jamás imaginamos recibir: Valeria fue diagnosticada con un tumor cerebral tan grande que le ha arrebatado la vista y nos ha sumido en una tormenta de miedo e incertidumbre. La gravedad del tumor fue tal que requería cirugía de emergencia, y aunque los médicos hicieron lo imposible, no pudieron quitarlo por completo sin poner en riesgo su vida.

Después de la cirugía, el diagnóstico fue un golpe brutal: glioma de alto grado, una enfermedad que exige un largo y duro tratamiento de radioterapia y 12 ciclos de quimioterapia. Enfrentamos un camino que ninguno de nosotros estaba preparado para recorrer, pero ahí está Valeria, con su espíritu luminoso, su sonrisa y una fortaleza que desarma. A pesar de esta pesadilla, ella sigue siendo la misma niña alegre y valiente, que nos da fuerzas cuando somos nosotros quienes deberíamos dárselas. Su ejemplo de coraje y resiliencia es una lección de vida, y verla así nos rompe y nos da esperanza al mismo tiempo.

Sabemos que el camino será largo y difícil, que cada tratamiento, cada consulta y cada medicamento tienen un costo enorme. Y aunque nuestra alma y nuestro amor están dispuestos a luchar junto a ella hasta el final, los gastos médicos están más allá de nuestras posibilidades. Por eso, hoy recurrimos a ustedes, a esa familia y amigos que tanto significan para nosotros, para pedirles su apoyo. Les pido que, si pueden, nos ayuden a dar un poco de paz a Valeria, que en estos momentos lo único que necesita es enfocarse en sanar y en sentirse rodeada de amor, sin que el peso de los gastos sea una preocupación más en su vida.

We know the journey will be long and difficult, that each treatment, each appointment, and each medication comes at a great cost. While our hearts and our love are ready to fight alongside her until the end, the medical expenses are beyond our reach.
