Support Vaibhav's Journey to Recovery

As I write this crowdfunding request, I pray that no family has to ever go through a heart-breaking & devastating tragedy like the one my brother’s family is going through. My brother Sanjeev’s youngest son Vaibhav was 19 and in perfect health, completing his sophomore year in aerospace engineering at Texas A&M when he collapsed, seized, and was emergently taken to the nearest neuro-ICU on March 22, 2025.

Emergency imaging and surgery revealed a ruptured blood vessel malformation in his brain, resulting in massive amounts of bleeding in the brain. After this was clipped and treated, he was airlifted to a neuro-ICU unit in Houston for further medical and surgical management. He was in a coma for 1.5 months and underwent numerous surgical procedures including a cranioplasty, PEG tube placement, tracheostomy, and more.

He is now awake and recovering slowly at Memorial Hermann TIRR in Houston, undergoing intense physical, occupational, and speech therapy. As you can imagine, this has taken an immense emotional, physical, and financial toll on my brother’s family. In addition to the overwhelming costs of his medical treatment, numerous surgeries, and specialized rehab needed for complex cases like this, Vaibhav's parents have had to stay at a hotel near Vaibhav for more than 2.5 months with no clear end in sight.

We are humbly asking for you to read his story and pray for Vaibhav to make a full recovery. If you have the means to do so, any financial contribution would be immensely appreciated.
