Vader, the H-E-B kitty, has recently been neutered and received his first round of vaccinations. On 05/04/2026, he went in for his very first checkup. Although he was wearing a cone during recovery, he unfortunately developed an infection and is now on antibiotics to help him heal. Thankfully, those costs have already been covered.

However, Vader still needs dental work. The estimated cost for required labs, anesthesia, and treatment is $468.47. This estimate does not include any potential extractions or additional procedures that may be needed.

Because Vader will also require follow-up care, the veterinarian has recommended a healthcare plan. This plan will cover the dental procedure (excluding extractions or other additional treatments) as well as follow-up visits over the next year, helping ensure Vader stays on track toward a healthy new life.
