Hello everyone, for the last year and a half my dog Vader has had a large tumor on his stomach. After testing it was concluded that it was a non cancerous fatty tumor. Given its location, Vader's age, and the fact that it didn't cause pain or really even bother him in the slightest, removal was not recommended. Unfortunately, his tumor ruptured and he needed emergency surgery yesterday afternoon. Thankfully his surgery went even better than expected, and Vader is now back home and recovering! Due to the urgency of the situation, I borrowed money from a family member and put the rest of the bill on my credit card. I am so incredibly grateful that Vader was able to get his surgery quickly and that was only possible because of my family and that loan. Regardless of how long it takes, I will pay it back. But as many of you know, finances are really tight for me right now as I have recently been let go from my second job. It really bothers me that I am an a position at this point in my life that I need to ask for help, but I have to try. Below you will find a picture of the surgery invoice, it totals $2,521, so I'm setting the goal for exactly that. On that invoice you can find the invoice number, and the vet clinic's contact info if you'd like to verify that the surgery took place.
It is extremely important to me that you only donate if you can comfortably afford to do so. I know times are really tight for everyone right now, it's scary. So if you cannot donate, I totally understand. If you'd still like to help, please share!
