Hi, my name is Alicia. My 9-month-old cat, Uzi, went missing from my apartment on Tuesday night. I searched everywhere, put up flyers, and walked the neighborhood—hoping and praying he’d come back.

While handing out flyers near my home, I found him by a dumpster, injured and terrified. I rushed him to the vet (VMCLI), where I learned he suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and may now be blind.He also has fractures in his jaw and nose. It appears someone may have hurt him—whether on purpose or by accident, we don’t know—but the result is devastating.

Uzi is just a baby and has so much life left. He’s fighting hard, and I’m doing everything I can to give him the care he needs. Unfortunately, the medical bills are overwhelming. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and will go directly toward Uzi’s ongoing treatment and recovery.
