Support USPS Worker & Father of Two Through 2nd Hip Surgery
Spende geschützt

Hello, my name is Dylan, and I’m reaching out with a humble heart during what has become one of the most difficult times my family and I have ever faced.
On Friday 5/23/25, I underwent my second major hip surgery in the past five years. While I'm grateful the procedure went well, the recovery ahead will take about six months — six months where I won’t be able to work, move around as I normally do, or support my family in the way I’m used to.
For the past 2 years, I’ve worked for the United States Postal Service, proudly serving my community through every season, every challenge, and every early morning. It's a job that requires strength, reliability, and long hours on your feet — something I’ve always been proud to give. But now, my body is forcing me to slow down, and I’m facing a long road back to mobility and stability.
At home, I’m a husband and a father of two wonderful children who are my entire world. My wife is a full-time student, working tirelessly toward her education and a better future for all of us. On top of her studies, she holds a part-time job to help make ends meet. Despite all this, the loss of my income during recovery has left us struggling to keep up with the essentials.
We’re doing everything we can, but the reality is that we need help to stay afloat. The costs of rent, food, utilities, gas, medical bills and day-to-day living don’t stop just because life throws you a curveball. Every dollar we receive will go directly toward making sure our children have a safe, stable home and that we can cover the basic needs while I focus on healing.
We also share our home with three dogs who have been a source of love, comfort, and laughter for our family — especially during the tough times. They’re a part of this journey, too, and we want to keep them healthy and cared for while everything else feels uncertain.
Asking for help like this is not easy. I’ve always been someone who works hard and provides for others — not someone who asks for assistance. But right now, we’re leaning on the kindness of others and hoping that those who are able might be willing to offer support, whether that’s through a donation or simply by sharing our story.
If you can help in any way — no matter how small — you’re not just helping me, you’re helping a family trying to stay strong through a very challenging chapter. Your generosity would mean the world to us and would ease a burden that we’re working so hard to carry with dignity.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story, for sharing it, and for supporting us in whatever way you can.
With sincere gratitude,
Dylan
