Hello, I’m Nico. I’m 24 y/o and a USMC Vet, and I am trying to raise money for myself.

On July 5th at 2 a.m., I was woken by my stepmom yelling about a fire. I got dressed and went out to see what was going on, but by the time I got out there it was too late. I tried using the water hose to put it out but it already was in the attic. I was able to run back in a few times and save some valuables and clothes but now everything I own is packed in my car. I had to stand there and watch the fire slowly make its way from the garage to my room. Thankfully my cat Levi was not near the house when it happened and he’s fine.

Unfortunately, I paid my dad rent in cash, so there was no rental agreement or anything on paper so there insurance won’t cover me at all, no hotel and no covering all my stuff I lost.  My dad got a hotel room for me for this week, but come Friday, I’ll probably be sleeping in my car.

I’m trying to raise this money to help with paying for a hotel until I can figure out what to do so a majority of it will go to that.
