Thank you for visiting the fundraising page for USI Campus Cats! If you’re not familiar with the organization, we invite you to learn more about us by visiting our website.
USI Campus Cats was formed in 2021 by a passionate group of volunteers including students, staff, and community members at the University of Southern Indiana. Our mission is to care for the feral cat population living on campus through:
- Daily feeding
- Veterinary care
- Spay/neuter services for population control
In addition to managing the established colony, our volunteers frequently encounter dumped or abandoned cats. Since May 2024, we have seen 15 cats dumped on campus. While we are not a rescue organization, we do our best to connect these cats with local rescues — often in urgent and heartbreaking situations.
Volunteer-Funded
We receive no external funding. Expenses — food, veterinary bills, and supplies — have been paid out-of-pocket by our volunteers or through generous past donations. Your donation will directly support:
- Veterinary costs for both feral and dumped cats
- A steady supply of food
- Spay/neuter efforts
- Emergency care when needed
Other Ways to Help
If you're unable to donate to this fundraiser, you can still make a huge difference! In 2024, we launched an Amazon Wish List, where you can send much-needed food and supplies directly to our volunteers. These donations have significantly reduced the financial strain on our small team.
