Hi! We are USC Akshara, the NEWEST premier co-ed South Asian Bollywood Fusion Dance Team at the University of South Carolina! We are incredibly grateful to have been selected to compete at many competitions this season. However, the costs of attending these competitions are very high and may inhibit our ability to showcase our hard work and represent USC across the nation. Our dancers have put in numerous hours of time and effort into practicing and perfecting our set while balancing classes, work, and commitments to other organizations. With limited funding from the school, we are primarily responsible for covering the costs ourselves.
We are starting this GoFundMe with the goal to help relieve some of the financial burden placed on our dancers. The money raised for our team will go towards different costs for the competition season such as registration fees, costumes, production, transportation, and hotel expenses. We would greatly appreciate donations of any size and even if you are not able to make a donation, please share this with your family and friends!
