This is Fouad’s story!

This is my story between death and hope in the time of genocide!

My name is Fouad Abu-Jabal, and I'm reaching out to you in desperate need of assistance for my family and me. Before the October 7 war, we were a happy family. Me ,My wife,our three children Salem 12 years,Mera 10 years and Mohammed 8 years

However the outbreak of the war turned our world upside down. We faced death daily, with missiles raining down on our neighborhood and destruction everywhere we looked ,It was a nightmare.

My children have seen and experienced things that no child should ever have to endure. They've heard the terrifying sounds of missiles, witnessed bloodshed, and watched helplessly as our home was destroyed while we were inside. We were fortunate to escape with our lives, but the trauma of those days will haunt us forever. We've been forced to flee from one place to another, seeking safety wherever we can find it. But with explosions echoing all around us and death always looming nearby, there is no peace to be found in Gaza. My children have lost their innocence and their dreams for the future. The destruction of schools and hospitals means they've also lost their right to education, hygiene, and healthcare.

I miraculously survived the Al-Rashid Street massacre while attempting to bring food for my children during a time of famine.

Unfortunately, my survival was not complete, as I was injured in my leg and hand, and those next to me were injured or killed by occupation bullets. My injury was to the leg that had been scheduled for surgery before the war. Due to the lack of appropriate treatment and the destruction of hospitals, my ability to meet my family’s needs has diminished, making our suffering even more difficult. This has prompted me to think again about saving my family to a better reality where the minimum necessities of human life are available.

I was once an electrical & communication engineer, passionate about my work and proud of what I could create. I also helped my father in trading and selling.

My father had a clothing store in Gaza, which was completely destroyed after being burned. But the war destroyed more than just buildings; it destroyed my dreams and the future I was seeking for my family. With no reliable internet or electricity, I can no longer work online to support my family. All of my clients are gone, and with them, any hope of rebuilding my career here in Gaza is gone.

Our home is in Al-Sabra, which is one of the first areas that was declared an area from which its residents must leave to safe places in the center or south of the Strip. We did not comply at first, we just left the house; When our house was directly targeted, we took refuge in Al-Quds Hospital. We stayed for a month, during which we were close to death, as the Israeli army continuously targeted the hospital and its surroundings.

We desperately need to leave Gaza in search of safety and a new life. However, the cost of traveling outside Gaza is beyond our means. It would take approximately $20,000 for my family to evacuate safely.

This includes $15,000 for three adults and $5,000 for two children. I know this is a lot to ask, but our situation is dire. We are running out of options and time.

I humbly appeal to your generosity and compassion to help us in our time of need. Your support could mean the difference between life and death for my family.

This is our house. We were inside when all these bullets flew into the walls and penetrated them. Thank God we were able to finally get out.

We have survived more than once, but we have faced death twice!

The first time was on October 10th in our home in Gaza. All the buildings and roads surrounding us were completely damaged, and the windows and doors of my house were shattered.

This is how my 10-year-old child sleeps, covering her ears to get some rest from the bombs that don't stop.

Here my three children spend most of their time due to fear of explosions, especially at night until dawn.

Here is my father's clothing store in Gaza, which was completely destroyed after being burned.

I am now taking advantage of the time to collect travel costs until the main crossing is reopened, as the occupation has begun to invade the city of Rafah, and the main crossing is now completely closed. The possibility of traveling at the present time is not possible. Your donation can save many lives. We need to evacuate to a safe place as soon as possible. Please support and contribute to saving our lives. We still need your support. After we evacuate to Egypt, we will start our lives from scratch.

اكتب لكم باسمي فؤاد أبو جبل من غزة ،وهذه قصتي بين الموت

والأمل في زمن الإبادة الجماعية.

قبل حرب 7 أكتوبر كنت أعيش مع زوجتي واولادي الثلاثه

سالم 12 عامًا وميرا 10 أعوام ومحمد 8 أعوام ،نعيش حياة سلمية ومطمئنه الي حد ما ،لكن اندلاع الحرب كان كابوسا وقلب عالمنا رأساً على عقب حيث كنا نواجه الموت يومياً مع تساقط الصواريخ والقصف المستمر على بيوتنا والدمار في كل مكان .

أطفالي عاشو واختبرو أيام لا ينبغي لأي طفل أن يتحملها على الإطلاق كأصوات الصواريخ المرعبة و إراقة الدماء واستشهاد الاطفال تحت الركام وشاهدوا بلا حول ولا قوة منزلنا يُدمر بينما كنا بداخله،لقد كنا محظوظين بالنجاة بحياتنا، لكن صدمة تلك الأيام ستطاردنا إلى الأبد،لقد اضطررنا إلى الفرار من مكان إلى آخر بحثًا عن الأمان، ولكن للأسف مع تردد صدى الانفجارات في كل مكان حولنا والموت الذي يلوح في الأفق دائمًا بالقرب منا، لا يوجد مكان آمن في غزة.

لقد فقد أطفالي براءتهم وأحلامهم بالمستقبل، وبعد تدمير المدارس والمستشفيات فقدوا أيضًا حقهم في التعليم والنظافة والرعاية الصحية.

لقد نجوت بأعجوبة من مجزرة شارع الرشيد أثناء محاولتي إحضار الطعام لأطفالي خلال فترة المجاعة،

وللأسف لم تكتمل نجاتي،لانني أصبت في ساقي ويدي، ومن كان بجواري أصيب أو استشهد برصاص الاحتلال.

لقد كانت إصابتي في ساقي التي كان من المقرر إجراء عملية جراحية لها قبل الحرب،وبسبب نقص العلاج المناسب وتدمير المستشفيات، تضاءلت قدرتي على تلبية احتياجات عائلتي، مما يزيد من صعوبة معاناتنا، وهذا ما دفعني إلى التفكير مرة أخرى في إنقاذ عائلتي إلى واقع أفضل حيث يتوفر الحد الأدنى من مستلزمات الحياة البشرية.

انا مهندسً اتصالات والكترونيات شغوفًا بعملي وفخورًا بما يمكنني ابتكاره،كما كنت أساعد والدي في تجارة الملابس حيث كان لدى والدي معرض صغير لبيع الملابس في غزة، وقد دُمر واحترق بالكامل.

الحرب دمرت أكثر من مجرد المباني،لقد دمرت أحلامي ومستقبلي الذي كنت أسعى إليه لعائلتي، لم يعد بإمكاني العمل عبر الإنترنت لإعالة عائلتي لعدم وجود إنترنت و كهرباء ،لقد رحل جميع عملائي، وذهب أي أمل في إعادة بناء مسيرتي المهنية هنا في غزة.

كنت اعيش في منزلي في حي الصبرة، وهي من أولى المناطق التي أعلن عنها الاحتلال انها منطقة يجب على سكانها الخروج منها إلى أماكن آمنة في وسط القطاع أو جنوبه،لم نلتزم في البداية ولكن بعد استهداف منزلنا ومنطقتنا بشكل مباشر، لجأنا إلى مستشفى القدس، وبقينا لمدة شهر، كنا خلالها على وشك الموت، حيث كان الجيش الإسرائيلي يستهدف المستشفى ومحيطه بشكل مستمر.

نحن بحاجة ماسة إلى مغادرة غزة بحثاً عن الأمان والبدء حياة جديدة،ومع ذلك فإن تكلفة السفر لخارج غزة تفوق إمكانياتنا حيث ان السفر يقدر بتكلفه تعادل 20 ألف دولار حتى يتم إخلاء عائلتي بأمان ويشمل ذلك 15000 دولار لثلاثة أشخاص بالغين و5000 دولار لطفلين، أعلم أنه مبلغ كبير مما يجب أن نطلبه، لكن وضعنا صعب جدا وهذه الوسيله الوحيدة للخروج من غزة الي مصر.

أناشد بكل تواضع دعمكم وكرمكم وتعاطفكم لمساعدتنا في هذه الاوقات العصيبه، ودعمكم قد يعني الفرق بين الحياة والموت ،سيكون ذلك موضع تقدير وسيكون له قيمة كبيرة وسأمنح أطفالي المزيد من الأمل في هذه الحياة.

#لقد نجونا أكثر من مرة والاصعب كانت في 10 أكتوبر حيث تم استهداف المباني والطرق المحيطة بنا بشكل كامل، وتحطمت جميع نوافذ وأبواب منزلي والجدران وتضرر المنزل بشكل شبه كامل،حيث كنت وجميع افراد عائلتي داخل المنزل لحظه الانفجارات وبحمد الله عزوجل نجونا وتمكنا من الخروج .

#في الصور المرفقة ابنتي ميرا البالغة من العمر 10 سنوات، وهي تغطي أذنيها من أصوات القنابل التي لا

#و في صورة آخرى يقضي أطفالي الثلاثة معظم أوقاتهم بسبب الخوف من الانفجارات، خاصة في الليل وحتى الفجر.

#كما يكمنكم مشاهدة معرض الملابس الخاص لوالدي في غزة، وقد دمر و احترق بالكامل.

الآن أستغل الوقت في جمع تكاليف السفر لحين إعادة فتح المعبر الرئيسي، حيث بدأ الاحتلال باجتياح مدينة رفح، والمعبر الرئيسي مغلق الآن بشكل كامل،وإمكانية السفر في الوقت الحالي غير ممكنة.

تبرعك يمكن أن ينقذ العديد من الأرواح،نحن بحاجة إلى الإخلاء إلى مكان آمن في أقرب وقت ممكن.
