Fatma is a Gazan girl who participated into a theater project with an Italian group of activists. Now her life is in danger and this is her message for us:
Hello human
I hope you are well. As for me, if you are wondering, of course, I am not well, but at least I am still alive. My name is Fatma Yousef, I'm 22 years old and I live with my mother and two brothers after my father passed away. Honestly , being here in Gaza and still alive after death surrounded us with its brutality is considered a miracle.
Just imagine your home being bombed while you take your last look at it, a look to every corner of it holds a memory for you . Imagine running to save your life and your family’s life while the stones that you built, stone by stone, fall over your head and around you. Imagine that your safe haven has become just rubble.
This is a small part of what we have suffered since since October and which is still continuing. I also particularly mention the extreme danger we live in every moment, due to our scarce economic situation, malnutrition and the lack of provision of the simplest types of health care.
I ask your humanity to help us rebuild what we lost and restore our soul after it has been exhausted. Our house was like a piece of heaven with the beauty of its details, warmth and tranquility.
