On May 16th, Peyton and I will be taking a big leap of faith: traveling to California to attempt a thru hike of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). The PCT is a trail that begins at the border with Mexico and ends at the border with Canada, a total of about 2,650 miles! 

A year of living in a new city during a global pandemic, unable to meet new people, gave us the space to search our souls. What we love is experiencing new things, adventuring, nature, and tapping into our natural spirit. Truly living. By donating, you are helping us fuel our souls. All money donated will go towards our trip on trail: food resupplies in town, a night in a hotel to rest our feet, and gear needed along the way. Not to mention paying for, what will be much needed, showers and laundry after days in nature. We will also have recurring bills at home. While we have saved, every bit of support will enable us to live this experience to the fullest while still covering all our necessities and bills. 

Carrying everything we need on our backs, and hiking for 5 months through some of the most amazing scenery, feels so surreal as I type this sitting on my couch. We are hopeful that this trip will launch us into a life of following our dreams.
