On October 25th, 2025, our dad, Ken Evans, while cleaning leaves and acorns off the roof, unfortunately fell and landed on his back. He was quickly rushed to the hospital, and after a very emotional and terrifying few hours in the emergency room, doctors discovered he had sustained multiple broken vertebrae. He underwent surgery to repair his spine, then spent two weeks in the ICU and the hospital before being sent to a rehabilitation institute. He is working hard every day toward recovery.

Our dad truly is the greatest. He has always been a constant and present figure in our lives, coaching sports teams, attending every performance and graduation, and has always been there to support us through all of our achievements. Not only is he there for us, his kids, but for everyone in his life. Our dad has sacrificed so much throughout our lives, and we are doing everything in our power to repay him and help him through this time to get him back on his feet... literally!

As of now, our dad cannot walk. Doctors estimate it may take around 6-12 months before he can walk again, but we are hopeful for a full recovery. As you can imagine, this accident has put immense emotional and financial strain on our family. It is going to be a very long haul, so we are looking for any support you can provide to get us over the hardship of the upcoming lack of income and medical expenses.

We are truly grateful to everyone who has reached out, put us in their prayers, or helped us in any way so far. Your kindness means more than words can say. Any contribution, no matter how small, helps us more than you can imagine.

Thank you,
Elise, Gabriel, and Maeve Evans
