Honoring Ivory Burks: Support for a Veteran's Family

We are reaching out to request financial assistance for our father, Ivory Burks, a proud U.S. Army Veteran who tragically passed away on January 15th, 2025. Ivory was a Vietnam Era veteran whose MOS was Medical Laboratory Specialist. Before falling ill, he was also a proud member of the Horizon City L.I.A.R.S. Club, where he built lasting friendships with fellow veterans who are Living.In.A.Retired.State. He was a huge Cowboys and Lakers fan and could watch Westerns 24/7. His favorite films included The Godfather Series and loved fried fish, BBQ ribs and turkey legs.

We are humbly seeking any possible help and our family is deeply grateful for any financial assistance as we plan funeral services for him. Any generosity will be deeply appreciated as we understand we are not the only ones going through tough times right now.
