Too many individuals and families remain in abusive situations because they fear leaving their beloved pets behind and have nowhere safe to go together. URI is committed to providing a safe haven for survivors and their pets, helping them find safety, heal, and rebuild their lives together.

I'm proud to support Urban Resource Institute (URI) and its PALS (People and Animals Living Safely) Program.

For individuals and families facing crisis, pets are family. They provide comfort, connection, and healing especially during the most challenging moments. Through PALS, URI helps keep people and their pets together by providing safe, pet-inclusive services and support.
