I'm proud to support Urban Resource Institute (URI) and its PALS (People and Animals Living Safely) Program.

I had the privilege of helping develop PALS, born from a simple but profound belief: no one should have to choose between their own safety and the safety of a beloved pet. For many survivors of domestic violence, pets are family, a source of comfort and healing, and sometimes their only unconditional companion. The fear of leaving that pet behind can make the decision to seek safety even harder.

PALS was created to change that.

Through PALS, URI helps keep people and their pets together by providing safe, pet-inclusive services and support.

I'm raising funds because I believe no one should have to choose between safety and the pet they love. Together, we can make a lasting impact because no one should have to face a crisis alone.
