My name is Mary Arsanjani, and I’m reaching out on behalf of Uriel Velediaz Jr. — a kind, vibrant, and caring 22-year-old — who is now facing a long and difficult road to recovery.

On Saturday night, Uriel was involved in a devastating car crash on the I-15 freeway in Temecula. The accident tragically claimed the lives of four people, including Uriel’s best friend. Uriel was a passenger in the Nissan that was struck head-on by a BMW driving the wrong way. Uriel miraculously survived, but he spent days in critical condition and has just recently been released from the hospital. He now faces months of physical rehabilitation, emotional healing, and financial hardship.

This unimaginable tragedy has left him and his mother with overwhelming medical bills and the emotional weight of trauma and loss. Uriel is relearning how to perform daily tasks we often take for granted, all while coping with grief and physical pain.
