Support Uriah Fortner spinal surgery recovery.

I'm Jennifer Fortner. My husband, Uriah Fortner, had to have unexpected emergency surgery on Tuesday, May 20th, for an infection of his spinal cord. He has lost feeling and mobility in his legs due to this infection. He's currently in the hospital recovering. Doctors have told him he is looking at least 3 weeks of being in the hospital and will need to be placed on a rehabilitation floor with physical therapy. He's under heavy antibiotics to help prevent any further infection. He is in severe pain and still slowly getting the ability to move his toes and feet. He still isn't able to move his legs on his own. Uriah being in the hospital with this unexpected emergency is putting us in a financial strain due to him not being able to work. From what the doctor is telling us, it's going to be a lengthy amount of time in the hospital and an uncertain amount of time once released from the hospital before he will be able to return to work, which leaves us without his income. The hospital is about 45 minutes from where we live, and I'm making a daily drive to see him after I get off work every day. We all know the price of gas isn't cheap. Anyone who knows Uriah knows he would give you the shirt off his back. If anyone can find it in their hearts to help us during this most stressful and difficult time, we would greatly appreciate it. My income alone won't cover our monthly financial expenses. Also, asking for lots of prayers for a speedy recovery. Thank you for your support and consideration. Hugs, Jennifer Fortner
