Last Friday night, we received devastating news that my father-in-law suddenly passed away in the Philippines during a diving trip. We are heartbroken and saddened about this news. He was supposed to visit this Christmas to meet our daughter for the first time. My mother-in-law and brother-in-law who are here in the US for a visit have rebooked their flights to go home on Tuesday.

We would like to be there for the funeral, but we have financial concerns. Since it is an urgent travel to the Philippines, the plane tickets are so high and there are daily expenses for the funeral, too. 

We are hoping that we can leave within this week as we are racing against time to say our last goodbye. We appreciate your generosity and hope that we can be there for our family in this difficult time.
