Please Support Urgent Repairs for Family Home in Carriacou
Donation protected
My dear family in Carriacou, Grenada, has been devastated by Hurricane Beryl. Tragically, one of my first cousins, Elias De Coteau, lost his life and his home while sheltering and also shielding an elderly cousin. In addition, more than four homes in the Belmont area belonging to my loved ones have been severely damaged, leaving only the foundation in a couple of cases.
The three homes that remain standing are in need of urgent repairs to replace doors, windows, roofs, appliances, and generators for cooking. Therefore, I want to help my family restore their homes and stabilize themselves quickly so they can be in a place to help others in the community.
My name is Carol DeC Williams, and I currently reside in North Easton, MA, USA. I have a deep connection to the De Coteau, Thomas, Caton, Corion, and Bedeau families in Carriacou. Since my father was born on the island, I am a first cousin to many and a niece to relatives who have been extended family to me for over 25 years. I have had the pleasure of visiting and sharing in the love and warmth of this special place since 1998.
I will wire transfer the funds directly to Tamayo De Coteau and Matthew Thomas, my trusted family members, who will oversee the distribution of funds for their immediate building needs.
Please join me in supporting my family in their time of need. Your generosity and support mean the world to me and my family.
Thank you for your kindness and compassion!
