Hey everyone, I’m putting this together on behalf of a friend who really needs support right now.

The situation with ICE and the threat of raids has gone on longer than they originally anticipated and has been much more costly than expected. Things have gotten to a point where they urgently need help covering some essential expenses so they can stay safe and keep moving forward.

Here’s what funds will be put forward to:

• They need to cover rent to avoid housing instability while everything’s being sorted. After being unfairly fired, their employer is threatening to call ICE.

• They need to resolve outstanding car registration and tickets so nothing can be held against them (which can have serious consequences given their situation)

• And they’re trying to prepare financially in case they need to leave LA quickly for their safety or wellbeing

This isn’t about luxury — this is about survival and staying a step ahead in a system that’s made everything unnecessarily difficult.
