My name is Noor El-Sherbeini, and I am reaching out to support Kholoud and her son Khalid, who are residents of the Gaza Strip, currently displaced in Khan Younis. They urgently need our assistance. Before the Israeli aggression on Gaza, Kholoud was a divorced mother living alone and raising her son with little to no support. After being displaced for two months, Kholoud and Khalid returned to check on their home and retrieve some clothing. However, a disaster struck when they were hit by an artillery shell, resulting in severe injuries to Khalid's neck and one of his eyes, including partial loss of his voice due to shrapnel wounds in his throat.

Their home, which provided shelter from the sun's heat and the winter cold, was also destroyed, making it essential for them to find warm clothing for the upcoming winter. Additionally, Kholoud suffers from third-degree burns on her body, from below her chest to her neck.

Along with the medical care both she Khalid need, they are struggling to obtain basic necessities and survive.

Kholoud and Khalid plan to travel abroad for treatment as soon as the Rafah border reopens. However, the coordination and approval to exit Gaza alone will cost them between $10,000 and $20,000. We aim to raise $50,000, which will cover additional travel expenses, Khalid's medical treatment, and essential supplies they need currently, including food and warm clothing to protect him and his mother during the winter months.
