Emergency Medical Help Needed for Georgie and Tyson
Sweet Georgie needs your help. This gentle soul was adopted just over a month ago and recently faced a terrifying medical emergency. He was rushed to the ER and diagnosed with prostatitis — a painful and serious infection. Georgie underwent multiple tests, ultrasounds, and bloodwork.
Georgie was scheduled to be neutered shortly after his diagnosis, but due to the severity of his condition, the vet could not clear him for surgery right away. He needed to be stronger before facing anesthesia.
Last Thursday, we got a call we never expected. Tyson, a dog we adopted out just over a month ago, had been found wandering alone in the woods in upstate New York. Animal Control contacted us immediately, and our foster coordinator rushed to respond.
Tyson was brought straight to the vet, where his new foster helped him begin emergency medical treatment.
At the vet, we learned Tyson is also battling two tick-borne illnesses, and he’s now on a 30-day course of doxycycline. He received full bloodwork to check for any damage to his kidneys and liver, and will need follow-up care to ensure he’s on the road to recovery.
This boy has been through so much — and we’re doing everything we can to give him the care and love he needs. But the medical bills just keep piling up.
With so many recent emergencies and ongoing treatments, our rescue is struggling to keep up financially. We are still deep in debt from previous medical cases and now facing even more with Tyson’s return and care.
Please help us help Georgie and Tyson. Whether you can donate, share, or just send good thoughts — it means the world to us and to them.
Every dollar truly helps, and every share brings us closer to giving Tyson the second chance he deserves and Georgie the support he deserves.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
