My name is Jacob Kvigne. I'm the head wrestling coach at Urban Middle School in Sheboygan, WI. The Urban Middle School program has seen significant growth the past 3 years. When I first started coaching here a teacher told me, "Good luck coaching 6 kids." They were not lying. The year before I started, There was only 6 kids that came out for wrestling.

That number have since increased. At different points in the season last year, we had close to 30 kids signed up for our wrestling team. At the conference meet last year, we had 6 first place finishers and 5 second place finishers.

I'm proud of how the program has grown not just on the mat, but the building of character in the athletes when they are off the mat is the thing that I am most proud of. During these last 3 seasons, We have been rocking the same singlets that were used before my time started. Just plain green and blue singlets.

Our wrestling uniforms need an upgrade if we are going to keep the program growing. My ambitions are big, but I believe that it will not only maintain the growth that we have seen, but ascend our program to a whole new level. The athletes over the years have had some major successes on and off the mat.

I would love for our singlets to show that progress. The amount of singlets that we are looking to order are 32 male singlets and 19 female singlets. We feel like this is the perfect number to account for the growing numbers, but not have too many extra singlets that don't get used. These singlets will be built to last and will be a staple of our program for years to come. Total cost for all the singlets is $4,093. Your donations are greatly appreciated.
