Support UPT's Essential Facility Upgrades

In the wake of an unexpected visit from the Fire Marshal this past February, our beloved UPT family was thrust into an unforeseen crisis. The daunting reality of needing $30,000 to bring our theater up to code casted a shadow over our cherished community space. It was a moment of uncertainty, but what unfolded next was nothing short of miraculous.

Through the kindness and solidarity of individuals like Dennis Linney, Jim Howlett, the unwavering support of Ron and Francine Selim, and the generosity of Double D Locke And Key, we found ourselves able to keep our doors open, just in time for the eagerly anticipated debut of Harvey.

Since then, our journey has been one of resilience and unity. Thanks to the boundless generosity of Ron and Francine Selim, Jim Williams, and the Rotary Club of South Ukiah, we've been able to make crucial upgrades: from ensuring accessibility with ADA-compliant features, to fortifying our safety measures with robust fire doors and surveillance systems.

But the journey is not over, we still find ourselves in need of $8,000 to address critical electrical upgrades throughout our beloved theater – a reminder that our journey towards safety and security is far from over.
