We are the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Ultimate Team! We are a year-old team that is student-run, just achieved non-profit status, and completely dependent upon fundraising for tournaments and competition. What we strive for in our team is not just a competitive environment where we play a game. Our original goal for this club, and the goal we stand by today, is to create an environment for students of any kind to thrive and have a place where they can be themselves and form relationships. After a long day of classes and the stresses of everyday life, we strive to give our students a chance to decompress, relax, have fun, and make friends. I, one of the executives of the club, started it about a year ago with my best friend of many years; and through ultimate, I have been blessed with the chance to grow even closer and form solidified memories I'll never forget. As well as, meeting some of the most important people in my life today. This is what we want for others, this is what we aim for. Any donations would go towards outreach to more students, equipment for our club, and funds to go to tournaments and make memories!
