My husband, a father, a family man and good friend. He was diagnosed on July 1st, 2024, with stage 4 prostate cancer. By the time he was diagnosed, the cancer had spread to his lymphnodes, pelvis, spine, hips, and femures . My husband did one round of radiation to strengthen his bones. The fear was his back would snap and lead to dire consequences. He is currently going through chemotherapy. It is his oncologist and radiation oncologist hope that he will go into remission. Regardless of his prognosis, for the rest of his life, my husband has to have an injection of Zoladex every 3 months, and daily, he has to take 4 pills of Nubeqa. My husband and I have been together for 42 years since I was 17, and he was 22. He is truly my best friend. We were blessed with 2 beautiful daughters. We have had to endure the loss of our youngest daughter our precious angel at the age of 26 to Ovarian cancer. My husband is my rock during the first few months, bringing me back from the edge of grief. My husband is everything to his family and friends. He spoil "his girls* never saying no to us, he always says " it's only money and I can make more". Doug is always there to lend a helping hand. For those who know Doug, you know his laugh is contagious and always makes you laugh. We need him in our lives, he is everything to us.

Our income is now less, and times are tough ( I don't work due to my own health issues and have no income). We don't know what our future holds, but, we know we need help. May the grace of God open your hearts and you can help every little bit helps. Doug/ we don't need any more stresses in our life.
