Unity Day is back — and we need your help to make it happen!
For over 30 years, Unity Day has brought thousands of people together in Hyde Park, Leeds for a free, volunteer-led community event filled with music, arts, food, culture, and family-friendly fun. It’s a celebration of community spirit, creativity, and togetherness — open to everyone.
This year, a brand new committee is working hard to bring Unity Day back with a fresh focus on local people, inclusivity, and unity at the heart of everything we do.
We’re aiming to raise £10,000 to cover key costs, including:
- Public Liability Insurance and other necessary certification. (Approx. £3000)
- Generators to power hot food, music, stalls, and activity areas. (Approx. £3750)
- Toilets and accessibility facilities. (Approx. 3050)
- First Aid and Security to ensure a safe and welcoming space for all ages. (Approx. £6300)
- Family zones and creative workshops. (£500)
Every donation — big or small — goes directly toward making this day possible. Unity Day is run by Unity Leeds CIC, a non-profit organization, and all funds are managed transparently through our community bank account.
If you believe in free, positive, community-led spaces — please donate, share, or spread the word.
Let’s bring Unity back to Hyde Park!
Thank you for your support.
