To all my friends, I’d like to introduce you to Uni! She is the most selfless, generous, and giving person I have ever known! She's always looking for ways to give to others but rarely asks for help herself. In fact, she did not want me to set up this GoFundMe account.

Originally from the Philippines, she's worked tirelessly to support her family and to do everything the right way, embracing the United States, a country which she loves! Yet, the last 3 years she has had to deal with more than most of us deal with in our lifetime. A car accident, the discovery of a brain tumor which led to brain surgery, and now

she's facing yet another monumental challenge. She will have open-heart surgery soon, and she desperately needs our help. Uni's been working multiple shifts and multiple jobs at a hospital and nursing homes to earn money to support her family, to bring her daughter and 3-year-old grandson (whom she has never met) to the US, and to earn money to send her son off to college. Unfortunately her body is giving out and recently had to go to the ER and her doctors have told her to slow down!

She has made a life in the US without taking a dime from our government. Despite her own health struggles, she's remains dedicated to her family and others! The funds raised will help cover expenses leading up to her surgery and during her recovery, as she won't be able to work.
