Help Undra After Losing Everything in the Palisades Fire
Donation protected
On January 7th, our dear friend Undrakh’s apartment and everything she owned burned to the ground in the Palisades fire.
On that day, the Pacific Palisades fire started just over the hill from her home when she was notified to evacuate immediately. In her haste to evacuate, she was able to grab her laptop, passport, and the clothes on her back as she made the 3 hour journey out of the Palisades through smoke and traffic. Hopeful over the next few days that her apartment was spared, she sadly was told on Thursday that her entire apartment complex had burned to the ground. Her entire life turned to ash.
She is safe with friends but has been trying to navigate next steps while still dealing with the heartache. Her insurance provider has been stingy, FEMA denied her initial application, and she feels that she is jumping through hoops as she looks to rebuild her life. The funds from this fundraiser will help her to:
Find temporary housing (furnished short or long term lease)
Purchase essentials (clothes, groceries, etc.)
All funds will be sent directly to her.
We are a group of her friends that know her from all walks of life. Undrakh is the sweetest, kindest person and it breaks our hearts that she is going through this, especially so far away from her family in Mongolia. We are continuing to support her with a place to stay, meals, researching resources, etc. but her next steps require more than we can give. All donations will help and are so much appreciated. Thank you so much for your help.
From her friends - Holly, Izzi, and Zola
