NWTC 2023 Close the Gap Scholarships

Northwest Tap Connection,'s mission is to “Close the Gap” within the Arts for underserved youth in Washington State through training, education and enrichment opportunities. “Close the Gap” is a progressive scholarship program that supports discounted classes and enriching opportunities for youth; preparing them to be competitive in arts education and performances.

The program serves 200 youths from our community each year. Revenue generated from donations provides quality dance programs to area youth who would otherwise not be able to afford these enriching experiences. Donations also help fund scholarships, master classes with professional artists, and participation in local and national dance festivals.

Your support plays an integral role in changing the lives of young people for a better future. Please help us provide this priceless opportunity to the youth in our community and consider making a tax-deductible donation to provide dance studio participation for a child who otherwise cannot afford it.

$50 provides for one month for one child

$300 provides for half a year of studio participation for a child

$600 provides 1 student’s full participation in the program for a year
