Our Story

Our family has been deeply marked by pancreatic cancer. We have already had to say goodbye to my Nana, my Aunt, and my Mother because of this relentless disease. On October 23rd, 2023, we received the news we feared most: my Uncle Dale was diagnosed with the very same cancer that took his mother and two sisters.

The Battle So Far

Dale is a fighter. He has already completed one grueling round of chemotherapy and is currently in the middle of his second. While the road has been incredibly difficult, we have seen a glimmer of hope—the tumor in his pancreas has shrunk enough for him to regain some of the weight and strength he lost.

Even though he is still undergoing treatment, Dale is finally feeling a little better. He is determined to make the most of the time he has and the strength he’s worked so hard to get back.

Dale’s Wishes

Dale has two main goals right now:

Making Memories: The very first wish on his bucket list is to take a cruise. After everything he has endured, we want him to feel the ocean breeze and enjoy a period of rest and joy away from hospital walls.

Peace of Mind: He wants to ensure that his final expenses are taken care of so that the burden doesn’t fall on the family later.
