Support Uncle Joe's Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer
Donation protected
Friends and Family, my Uncle Joe really needs your help! He recently has been told the very shocking news that he has Stage 3 Pancreatic Cancer. This news has completely turned their world upside down in a matter of hours. But true to his resilient tough Italian spirit, Uncle Joe is determined to fight this battle with courage and strength.
This diagnosis is not only physically and emotionally taxing, but also comes with significant financial burdens, due to the specialized care and treatment required to fight this. During the next 6 months he will complete many rounds of extremely aggressive chemotherapy treatments. Each round is comprised of three types of extremely aggressive classes of chemotherapy. Even more burdensome is that his life partner Kim has been furloughed from her job. Money is even tighter making these mounting medical bills more stressful.
Not only has Uncle Joe brought a smile to all our faces playing his guitar and singing songs. He is the backbone of the Barone family. He is the first person to help a family member or friend in need. I saw this firsthand when he helped Uncle Terry during his cancer battle. He cared for him and took him to his doctor appointments. Uncle Joe was a great support system for his sister Carol during this time. Uncle Joe has taught us the value of Family time, especially during the holidays at the Barone Family Christmas Party. He is a great storyteller and has made sure the younger generations know all the epic Barone stories.
We humbly ask for your support of our Uncle Joe and his beautiful family as he begins this valiant fight. We are hopeful that our amazing community will come together to help defray some of these costs, so that the Barones can focus on important things like quality time together.
We will update with any other supportive efforts as things develop.
We appreciate your generosity, kindness, prayers, and support during this shocking and challenging time.
