Support Uncle Fredi's Stoic Fight with Cholangiocarcinoma

We are reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help in supporting our uncle, Fredi, who has been diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma after a month of misdiagnosis and ineffective treatments.

His Story

Uncle Fredi has always been a dedicated farmer, working alongside his family on their beloved small farm. However, in September 2024, he started feeling unusually tired and developed a mild fever and persistent cough. Local doctors initially suspected COVID and treated him with antibiotics, but his condition didn’t improve. After his health worsened, a scan in November revealed a mass in his liver.

Our family then sought specialized care abroad in Istanbul, where a biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of cholangiocarcinoma.

The Fight Against

Since early December, Uncle Fredi has been undergoing a combination of immunotherapy and chemotherapy as part of his initial treatment period. After three cycles, doctors have determined that he needs at least three more rounds to fight the progression of the disease. It is urgent that he continues his treatment without interruption to have the best chance at recovery.

Why We Need Your Help

Up until now, our family has done everything possible to cover the costs of his treatment on our own. However, as the battle continues, the financial strain is becoming overwhelming. The cost of ongoing therapy, travel, medical consultations, and hospital stays has placed a significant burden on us, and we are now in urgent need of support to ensure Uncle Fredi can continue his treatment without interruption.
