Support Uncle Alex's Stroke Recovery Journey
Donation protected
Dear Supporter,
My name is Tolu Akisanmi and I am putting together this fundraiser along with a few family members.
Our dear Uncle Alex recently suffered a severe stroke that left him paralyzed on his left side.
Uncle Alex is a selfless and dedicated man who has devoted over three decades of his life to teaching and helping others. Although now retired, known for his passion for people and his unwavering commitment to making a difference, he has been a blessing to many.
The stroke challenges required extensive medical treatments and physical therapy. This unexpected medical crisis has taken a significant toll on his health and finances. Despite his strong spirit and resilience, the costs of his treatments have exhausted his savings.
While a lot of friends and family members have tried their best to support his medical bills so far, his treatment is taking up more resources than originally planned in the quest to get him to full recovery. Your contributions will go directly towards his medical expenses and recovery and no amount is too small to support this cause.
Monthly medical expenses, including the cost of skilled nursing facility offering physical and occupational therapy, are about USD 7,000. As soon as he is stable and able to travel, he will be transferred to a lower cost, extended care facility to continue his recovery. This move will cost an estimate of USD 28,000 for medical transportation with a registered nurse.
Together, we can make a difference and give back to a man who has given so much to society.
Thank you for your anticipated kindness and support.
Sincerely,
Tolu
