My name is Umekia. I am a 48 year old divorced nurse mother of 2 adults.What started out of as a somewhat normal day has been everything EXCEPT normal. I can no longer do anything for myself. I won’t be going back to work any time soon. I have Acute Respiratory Failure. I can barely walk 10 feet without my oxygen dropping to the 70’s…I am currently back in the hospital.
