Dear friends and family, 

 It is with heavy hearts that we share the news the passing of Ulysses Kirk. (Aka UU or UK). After a courageous battle with illness, Ulysses was surrounded by the love and support of his family, who cherished every moment with him and ensured his comfort in his final days. In honoring his memory, we reflect on the light he brought into our lives. His infectious smile, his love for his family, softball, dancing and low riding will continue to inspire and uplift us all. May his spirit live on in the love he gave and the joy he shared. 

 As we navigate this incredibly difficult time and prepare for Ulysses's final arrangements, we are reaching out to those who may be able to offer support. His passing was completely unexpected, and the family is now facing the financial burden of funeral and memorial services. We humbly ask for any assistance you can provide to help ease this burden during such a painful time. Every contribution, no matter the size is greatly appreciated and will go directly towards honoring Ulysses with the care and dignity he truly deserves. Your kindness means more to us than words can express. We appreciate your kindness, love, and prayers during this heartbreaking time. In honoring Ulysses Kirk (aka UU or UK) we will get to reflect on the light he brought into our lives on February 17th at 11am. Funeral will be at Jones in East Palo Alto.
