Aloha Kākou!

On July 17, 2024 Ulumana failed his high school physical. Excited as he was for football season he was instead sent to see his doctor who referred him to do an echocardiogram. Results recommended we do OPEN HEART SURGERY as soon as possible. Ulumana was born with a heart murmur so he was always under doctors care and never displaying any symptoms leading up to this.

For Ulumana, our funny, smart athlete, this meant NO contact sports only the hope to be on the basketball court this winter. His surgery will be the week of September 23-27 on Oahu with a 3-8 week recovery time. We are humbly asking first and foremost for your prayers and secondly any financial support that will help us pay for medical bills and travel expenses. 9/22/24 we were sent to Oahu for blood work and ct scans and with that, results sent as back to Maui and was told they are sending him to Children’s Hospital in LA next month.
