Hola, nosotros los amigos de Ulises, su familia en Winnipeg, organizamos este fundraiser para rendir homenaje a Ulises Solís Maldonado, padre de Azuli y Suri, y esposo de Azucena.

Ulises falleció repentinamente, dejando un vacío imposible de describir en la vida de su familia y de todos quienes tuvimos la fortuna de conocerlo, quererlo y sentir su luz.

Hoy, Azucena y sus hijas, de 17 y 15 años, enfrentan una realidad profundamente dolorosa: aprender a vivir sin el hombre que las amaba con todo su corazón, que las cuidaba, las protegía y las trataba como las reinas que siempre fueron para él.

Ulises fue mucho más que un esposo y un padre. Fue un hombre generoso, siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Unió familias, sostuvo a otros en momentos difíciles, regaló sonrisas a los que lo necesitaban y llenó espacios con su voz cantando mariachi. Llevó a México en el alma, con orgullo, alegría y amor.

Hoy, ese corazón tan grande ya no está físicamente con nosotros, pero su legado sigue vivo en cada persona a la que tocó.

Este fundraiser nace desde el amor y la gratitud, con el deseo de devolver un poco de todo lo que Ulises dio en vida, apoyando ahora a su esposa e hijas en este momento tan doloroso y lleno de cambios.

Los fondos recaudados serán destinados a:

• Gastos funerarios

• Costos inmediatos del hogar

• Apoyo para los ajustes económicos que la familia enfrentará en esta nueva etapa

Cualquier contribución, por pequeña que sea, representa un acto de amor y solidaridad. Y si no puedes donar, compartir esta campaña también es una forma enorme de ayudar.

Nuestro más sentido pésame a la familia y amigos quienes también lloran la pronta y repentina partida de Ulises.

Hello, we -Ulises’ friends, his family in Winnipeg- have organized this fundraiser to honor the life of Ulises Solís Maldonado, father of Azuli and Suri, and beloved husband of Azucena.

Ulises passed away suddenly, leaving an indescribable void in the lives of his family and of all of us who were fortunate enough to know him, love him, and feel his light.

Today, Azucena and her daughters, ages 17 and 15, are facing a deeply painful reality: learning how to live without the man who loved them with all his heart, who cared for them, protected them, and treated them like the queens they always were to him.

Ulises was much more than a husband and a father. He was a generous man, always willing to help. He brought families together, supported others during difficult times, brought smiles to anyone who needed them, and filled spaces with his voice singing mariachi. He carried Mexico in his soul, with pride, joy, and love.

Today, his giving heart is no longer physically with us, but his legacy lives on in every person he touched.

This fundraiser is born out of love and gratitude, with the desire to give back a small part of all that Ulises gave during his life, by supporting his wife and daughters through this painful time of loss and transition.
